Director Will Lovelace said the pair were candid about their long estrangement. "We did an interview with them towards the end of the film, and they were incredibly candid and that surprised us," Lovelace said, according to a report from Express & Star.

UK release date, streaming and where to watch
The UK theatrical run began on 9 September, with the London premiere held two days earlier at Leicester Square. Attendees included Manchester musician Johnny Marr, footballer Jack Grealish, Miles Kane and Pink Floyd's David Gilmour.
The film will stream on Disney+ UK later this year, after its limited cinema window closes.

What the film covers, and what's next for Oasis
Writer and producer Steven Knight, known for Peaky Blinders, said the project was built around fans as much as the band itself. "I wanted to tell the story of the brothers and the band, but just as important, the story of the fans whose lives the music has touched," Knight said, according to an Advanced Television report.
Meanwhile, Oasis appear to be teasing fresh tour dates for 2027. Since 3 September, the band has posted daily cryptic clips online that fans believe point to shows at Celtic Park, the Etihad Stadium, Munich and Barcelona, Radio X reported.
