The couple, who first began dating in January 2023, previously split in September 2025 after nearly three years together. They later confirmed on New Year's Eve that they had rekindled their romance.
Recently, Ballerini attended the 2026 Grammy Awards by herself. Sources close to the couple have indicated that the relationship became "rocky and toxic," with jealousy being a contributing factor to the split.
The couple's relationship began after Ballerini sent a direct message to Stokes on Instagram in December 2022. They made their red carpet debut in April 2023 at the CMT Music Awards.
