SANTA CLARA, Calif.Β β The Seattle Seahawks captured their second Super Bowl championship, crushing the New England Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium.
Kenneth Walker III earned Super Bowl MVP honors after racking up 161 total yards. The defense nicknamed the "Dark Side" suffocated Patriots quarterback Drake Maye all night long.
Defense Dominates Early
Seattle's defense set the tone from the opening drive.
The unit sacked Maye six times. Linebacker Derick Hall forced a crucial strip sack in the third quarter β his first turnover since 2024.
The Patriots were held scoreless through three quarters. New England didn't cross the end zone until Maye connected with Mack Hollins for a 35-yard touchdown with 12:27 remaining. Seattle led 19-7 at that point.
Walker Powers Seahawks Offense
Walker became the first running back to win Super Bowl MVP in 28 years.

Maye finished with three total turnovers. The Patriots offense was held scoreless until the final quarter.
Seahawks kicker Jason Myers added four field goals to seal the victory.

Chris Pratt led the Hollywood celebration from the field and locker room.
"What a season! So endlessly proud to be one of the 12s!" Pratt posted on social media. "It's gonna be a while before my voice comes back. Super Bowl Champions!"
TheΒ Guardians of the GalaxyΒ star introduced the Seahawks before kickoff at Levi's Stadium. He appeared on the field with players and celebrated with quarterback Sam Darnold in the locker room.
Former President Barack Obama congratulated the team on X: "This defense was special. MVP Kenneth Walker was dominant. And Sam Darnold gave us one of the best comeback stories in a long time."
