Savannah Guthrie is a well-known TV host on the Today show. Right now, her family is going through a very tough time. Her 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, has been missing since late January 2026.

Nancy lives near Tucson, Arizona. She was last seen on January 31 after having dinner and playing games with family. They dropped her off at home around 10 p.m. The next day, she did not go to church, so her family checked on her and found she was gone.

Police think this is a kidnapping. They say Nancy was taken from her home against her will. There are signs of forced entry, some blood drops, and her doorbell camera was turned off. Her car, phone, and medicine were left behind. Nancy needs her medicine, so this makes everyone very worried.

The family, including Savannah and her brother and sister, has shared videos on social media. They are asking the person who took Nancy to bring her back safely.

Here is one recent tweet about the family's plea:

🟥NBC “Today” show co-host Savannah Guthrie and her siblings released a heartfelt video pleading with the suspected kidnappers of her 84-year-old mother Nancy Guthrie, saying “we will pay” for her safe return as the search enters its seventh day. Authorities, including the FBI and local sheriff, are investigating.
